2026 -
Accel
2026 - I'm AI Resident to Shekhar Kirani at Accel, where I advise on AI investments and help portfolio companies. I still do research on the side, and I mentor startups at Conquest, BITS Pilani.
2024 - 2026
Kipo AI
2024 - 2026 I was employee #2 and Founding ML Engineer at Kipo AI, later Head of ML, building AI for U.S. government supply chain use cases.
2023
Cisco
2023 ML research intern at Cisco Research with Jayanth Srinivasa, where I turned LLM reasoning problems into classification tasks (LREC-COLING 2024). That work also produced one granted US patent and three pending applications.
2022 - 2024
UPenn
2022 - 2024 MS in Scientific Computing at the University of Pennsylvania (4.0 GPA). My thesis was on learning in physical systems with Andrea Liu and Nachi Stern. In parallel I worked on NLP and speech segmentation with Mark Liberman at the Linguistic Data Consortium.
2021 - 2022
J.P. Morgan
2021 - 2022 Quantitative Researcher on the Rates desk at J.P. Morgan, building pricing and risk models.
2019 - 2020
RIKEN
2019 - 2020 Research assistant at RIKEN, Japan in Franco Nori's group, working on open quantum systems with Neill Lambert. I co-developed QuTiP-BoFiN and worked on exceptional points and noisy mean-field annealing. While in Japan I was also invited to IBM's Qiskit Asia Camp, where I built a quantum overlapping tomography module with Rudy Raymond. In 2020 I also built crypto derivatives strategies at tensoralpha with Thomas Schmelzer.
2019
Microsoft Research
2019 Research intern at Microsoft Research India on Project Froid (scalar UDF inlining for SQL Server) with Karthik Ramachandra. I built PyFroid, a Pandas plugin that got up to 100x speedups via lazy evaluation.
2015 - 2019
BITS Pilani
2015 - 2019 BS in Computer Science at BITS Pilani. My undergraduate thesis was on DMRG for Potts models with Sreejith GJ at IISER Pune. Along the way I got a gold ranking in the WorldQuant challenge and became a research consultant there, and was one of 50 undergrads nationwide picked for the ACM cryptology school at ISI Calcutta.
research

I work on understanding how neural networks learn and reason: the geometry of memory in RNNs, multi-step reasoning in LLMs, learning in physical systems. Lately that means LLM security, agent simulations, in-context learning for science, and sampling-based planning for robotics.
